"More Than A Trace" installation at HPAC

"More than a trace" is CabinFever's upcoming installation to premiere alongside Hyde Park Art Center's new exhibition, "The Art of Being Dangerous," on September 15th.  Based on a combination of nterviews with the artists exhibiting at this sho, an exploration of heir work, and the specific lens throug which CabinFever artists see the world, artistic director Elana Jacobs and her dancers will ask the question, "how can I love you?" Jacobs believes that when we respond to an artist and their work, we can't help but express love. "More than a trace" consists of ersonal storie, artistic expression, and the act of seeing the human as whole. CabinFever will create 19 tiny movement phrases dedicated to each of the rtists. Through this process, the company hope to mimic the energetic exchange that transpires between the viewer and artist at the museum – in which the art makes an impression on the body that lingers far beyond the exhibition space.
